LEGO City Police Station Review (LEGO)

LEGO City Police Station
What It Is

The LEGO City: Police Station from LEGO is an 854-piece building set that builds a Police Station, four vehicles and seven minifigures, which include three policemen, a policewoman and three crooks. The vehicles include a police car, motorbike and helicopter plus the crook's tow truck. The station exterior has a control tower, helipad, rotating radar dish, a garage with working door, an exterior, working barrier, breakout windows and working doors. On the inside there are offices, jail cells, a lobby and hallways connecting the different areas. There is even a LEGO Police Dog in this set!

Is It Fun?

This set is packed with features and details that let kids create all sorts of imaginative, open-ended play. There are tons of little accessories that work with the different features to give kids lots of different play experiences. One of them is found in each prison cell where the toilets hide the crooks' escape routes. Another fun feature is the crook's tow truck, which has a grappling hook that can be used to pull the prison bars down and free the captured crooks.

Who It’s For

This set is for LEGO fans, ages 6 to 14.

What To Be Aware Of

The directions are excellent and split into multiple booklets for each vehicle and station section. That makes building a large set like this organized and easy. The full build should take the average LEGO builders about two hours to complete.
