EverEarth Garden Activity Cube Review (Maxim Enterprise, Inc.)

What It Is

Parents are often on the lookout for toys that are eco-friendly, such as the EverEarth Garden Activity Cube. It's part of Maxim's EverEarth line of wooden toys made from renewable and recycled materials. Not only is it better for the environment, but it's also painted with water color-based paints, which are non-toxic and kid-safe. The Garden Activity Cube has eight different activities to engage your little one. There are counting beads, spinning gears, a peg maze, sliding pegs, spinning shapes, a wire maze, and a magnetic shape-sorting puzzle. The puzzle comes with a bag of five magnetic blocks in different shapes and colors. The toy is decorated with flowers and cute little birds, butterflies, and bugs.

Is It Fun?

This wooden toy is really sturdy and has a nice classic look to it. It encourages independent play, but multiple kids can also play with this toy at once because there are so many different activities. And all the activities help develop fine motor skills and introduce babies to colors, shapes, and counting.

Who It’s For

This is for ages 18 months and up. However, at this age, some kids are still putting everything in their mouths so we would probably put the magnetic blocks aside and save that activity until kids are a little older. The good news is that there are still seven other activities to engage your child.

What To Be Aware Of

One thing you should be aware of is that the base itself stands nine inches tall, so it's not a play table that toddlers will stand next to while playing. They'd probably sit or have to bend over the top for the wire maze.
