LEGO Castle Kings Castle Review (LEGO)

What It Is

The LEGO Castle: King's Castle is a huge, 996-piece set that builds the King's Castle, a battering ram and seven minifigures.

Is It Fun?

The castle is packed with fun features like a working drawbridge and portcullis, spring-action catapult, the king's thrown, treasure room and plenty of towers, ramparts and walkways for the king's troops to hold off the invading Dragon soldiers.

There's a collapsing wall through which the Dragon soldiers can break into the courtyard and if they are captured, there is a jail to lock them up in. The castle is built in sections that can be attached or detached to make it easy for kids to play with the interior sections or reconfigure the castle into one long wall structure.

The Minifigures include the King, the White Knight with his horse, two King's soldiers and three Dragon soldiers.

Who It’s For

This set is for LEGO fans, ages 7 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

The directions are excellent and most LEGO builders should be able to complete this set in three to four hours.

The King's Castle is part of the LEGO Castle series. It's the largest set in the series.
