Play-Doh Let’s Create: Letters Review (Silver Dolphin Books)

Play-Doh Let’s Create: Letters
What It Is

Play-Doh Let's Create: Letters is an activity book that introduces preschoolers to the letters of the alphabet through Play-Doh play. In the book, written by Susan Amerikaner, kids follow Zany Zebra through different classroom settings to identify key objects related to letters. For example, kids are asked to find things on the page that start with the letters A, B, C, and D. Kids might find an apple, a bunny, a computer, and a desk. The book is fully illustrated by clay artist Kara Kenna using colorful Play-Doh. The 11-page book includes four one-ounce cans of Play-Doh (red, yellow, green, and blue), 26 plastic letter molds, a two-sided playmat, and two extruders so that kids can make the letters or words they see in the book.

Is It Fun?

This activity book is an interactive way to introduce preschoolers to the alphabet and help them with letter and object recognition. Kids will have fun making letters and words and using their imaginations to make whatever they want out of Play-Doh.
