Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse Talkin’ Raquelle Review (Mattel)

Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse Talkin’ Raquelle
What It Is

Barbie fans can "prepare to be dazzled" just like Raquelle, one of the characters in the animated web series Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse. Raquelle is Barbie's frenemy in the series. She lives a posh lifestyle, is very dramatic, and will do anything to get what she wants. The Talkin' Raquelle doll says eight different phrases from the series and also records voice and sound, so kids can have the doll say any new phrases they want. To hear Raquelle's signature phrases, press the third star button on the doll's belt. To record your own phrases, press the center star and talk for up to six seconds. To play it back, press the first star button.

Is It Fun?

Barbie fans will love hearing Raquelle talk. The phrases from the show help bring the character to life, and kids will like that they can record new phrases for Raquelle as they play. Fans of Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse can recreate scenes from the show or imagine their own adventures with Raquelle.

Who It’s For

Talkin' Raquelle is for ages 3 and up. However, some of Raquelle's phrases are a little mean, and not all parents may want their 3-year-old talking like Raquelle. It's up to parents to decide what's appropriate for their child.

What To Be Aware Of

Four button cell batteries are included, but they are for the in-store try-me purposes. It's recommended that you replace them before you play for best results.

Additional talking dolls include Talkin' Barbie and Talkin' Ken. Each doll is sold separately.
