LEGO Marvel Superheroes Iron Man: Malibu Mansion Attack Review (LEGO)

What It Is

Iron Man fans can help stop an attack on Tony Stark's Malibu mansion with the LEGO Marvel Superheroes Iron Man: Malibu Mansion Attack building set. This 364-piece set lets kids build a section of the mansion with an exploding window function, rotating computer console and holographic screens, tools, armory with an exploding floor function, and a kitchen area with cupboards that open and close, a blender with mandarins inside, and assorted kitchen tools. Kids will also build a DUM-E with fire extinguisher and Mark 5 suitcase, and Mandarin's helicopter with spinning rotors, four flick missiles, and a cockpit with space for a minifigure. Five minifigures are included: Tony Stark, Mark 42 Armor, Pepper Potts, The Mandarin, and an Extremis soldier. Each minifigure has two facial expressions so kids can easily rotate a figure's head to change the character's look. The Extremis Soldier's head glows in the dark. A comic book is also included.

Is It Fun?

There's a lot of detail in this set, from the holographic computer screens to the exploding and firing functions, to inspire imaginative play for Iron Man fans. We like the multiple facial expressions for each minifigure and the Extremis Soldier's glow-in-the-dark feature. The comic book serves as great inspiration for kids as they create their superhero adventures.

Who It’s For
