LEGO The Lone Ranger Constitution Train Chase Review (LEGO)

What It Is

Kids can ride to the rescue with The Lone Ranger with the LEGO The Lone Ranger Constitution Train Chase building set. Using the sets 699 pieces, kids can set up an oval train track and build a locomotive with lots of authentic detailing, a coal car secret hideout, a wagon with rotating gatling gun, and a prison wagon with sliding door, opening roof, and exploding rear door function. The train wagons connect via magnets. Kids will also build a water tower with a detachable container, water elements, and an exploding function. Seven minifigures are included: The Lone Ranger, Tonto, Rebecca Reid, Danny Reid, Butch Cavendish, Latham Cole, and Captain Fuller. This set also includes The Lone Ranger's horse, Silver. Weapons includes three revolvers, a rifle, a sword, and a slingshot. Accessories include three dynamite packs, two silver bars, two silver nuggets, a shovel, a bottle, and a pocket watch-decorated element.

Is It Fun?

This is a very big set with lots of great details to inspire all sorts of open-ended, narrative-based play. We especially like that this building set includes Silver. (Or maybe it's just because some of us here like saying, "Hi-ho, Silver!") Kids can recreate scenes from the movie or imagine all-new adventures for The Lone Ranger.

Who It’s For

The Lone Ranger Constitution Train Chase is for The Lone Ranger fans ages 8–14.

What To Be Aware Of

Because this building set has a lot of pieces, it's going to take a few hours to build. Depending on your skill level, it could take anywhere from 1.5–3 hours. But remember that building is part of the fun and play of LEGO.
