Draw & Tell Review (Duck Duck Moose)

Draw & Tell
What It Is

Draw & Tell is an art app with tons of tools, coloring pages, and a recording feature. On the main page, you can choose from a blank page or coloring page. If you want to do your own artwork, start with a blank page. The first thing you decide is what your background is going to be. Choose a photo that you've saved in your device's photo gallery, or choose one of the backgrounds built into the app. There are lots of digital tools you can use once you are ready to draw, including crayons, colored pencils, and paintbrushes. There are lots of colors and other options, such as stencils, coloring with patterns, and stickers.

If you don't want to do your own artwork, there are 17 coloring pages in this app. You're not actually coloring. You just tap on the screen, and the app automatically fills the color you've chosen into the lines of the picture. It's a great way for kids to try out different colors and make their own unique pictures.

The highlight of this app is the recording feature. Both your own drawings and the coloring pages can be turned into a story or video. Just select the picture you want to narrate, and tap the recording button at the top. Then start talking. Kids can talk about what they were drawing or turn it into a story as they move stickers around the page.
