Color Surprise Tink Review (Jakks Pacific)

Color Surprise Tink
What It Is

The nine-inch Color Surprise Tink doll has light-up wings. Place the doll onto any of the nine shades of color on the included color map, and the doll's wings light up in that color. The doll will also play a fairy sound. When Tink lands on a color of surface other than the solid color on the map, the doll will not recognize that color. The wings will flash white and play a confused twinkle sound. The doll's skirt can be removed. Just remove Tink's wings, then pull the tabs of the skirt apart. Remove the skirt and dress other Disney Fairies dolls with it.

Is It Fun?

Color Surprise Tink is a classic Disney character with a new twist. Kids will really like making Tinker Bell's wings light up in different colors. They can use the color map or use colors on any other flat surface. While this is an entertaining toy, the play life is short because of its repetitive play. This Tink doll really doesn't do much aside from the light-up wings.

Who It’s For

Color Surprise Tink is for Disney Fairies fans ages 4 and up. However, the limited play will probably keep this most interesting to and engaging for kids 4-5.

What To Be Aware Of

Three AAA batteries are included, but these power the in-store try-me feature. Jakks Pacific recommends replacing the batteries before you play for best results.

Tink must be placed on a flat surface to get the best performance and match the color correctly. The doll will display the correct color matching from the color map but may not always match the correct color on other colored surfaces.

The doll cannot be removed from the base.
