Discover n Grow Twinkling Lights Projection Mobile Review (Fisher-Price)

What It Is

The Discover 'n Grow Twinkling Lights Projection Mobile can be attached to most cribs and used in two ways. As a mobile, the hanging animals (lion, bees, elephant, and monkey) will spin around as music plays. Parents can also turn off the spinning motion and only have music play, or they can choose to have the mobile play music, spin, and light up the hanging animals. There is also the option to have music, motion, light-up animals, and stars projected onto the ceiling. Press the button on the front to start a song and change the song. The music will play for up to 15 minutes, but parents can restart the mobile using the include remote control. The mobile can also be converted to a projector. Loosen the screws to remove the mobile arm and close the socket door on top of the mobile base. The projector can remain attached to the crib. When it is on, it will project stars on the ceiling, and parents can choose whether or not they want music to play.

Why Is It Useful?

With the Discover 'n Grow Twinkling Lights Projection Mobile, babies will be comforted by the gentle music and glowing lights. The moving animals in bright colors are designed to enhance a baby's eye-tracking skills, while the starlight projection helps babies focus—at least until they fall asleep. The remote control allows parents to restart the mobile without entering their child's room and disturbing the child. Parents will also like that this mobile can grow with their child, starting out as a crib mobile for newborns and becoming a soothing projector for older babies and toddlers.
