Baby Alive Beautiful Now Baby Review (Hasbro)

What It Is

With the Baby Alive dolls, kids have been able to feed their dolls, change the dolls' diapers, and give the dolls a check-up. The newest Baby Alive doll, Beautiful Now Baby, lets kids engage in a different activity: cutting and styling hair. Fill the spray bottle with water and wet the doll's hair. Then comb away the tangles. Give the doll a pretend haircut with the toy scissors. (These are not real scissors. They will not cut the doll's hair or anything.) Then style the doll's hair with barrettes. Beautiful Now Baby comes with a comb, three barrettes, a spray bottle, and pretend scissors that do not really cut.

Is It Fun?

On top of classic, nurturing baby doll play, Beautiful Now Baby lets kids engage in hairplay with their baby dolls. Whether pretending to give the doll its "first haircut" or just getting the doll ready for the day, kids will like this new way to play with Baby Alive.

Who It’s For

Baby Alive Beautiful Now Baby is for ages 3 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

The spray bottle is for use with water only.

The doll comes with part of its hair tied up in ponytails. To allow kids to style all of the doll's hair, you'll want to remove the string to release the ponytails. It works best if you use small scissors to cut the string.
