LEGO Star Wars TIE Fighter Review (LEGO)

LEGO Star Wars TIE Fighter
What It Is

Star Wars fans can imagine hunting down the Rebels in the iconic TIE Fighter. This 413-piece set lets kids build the TIE Fighter, complete with dual flick missiles (which means that they're fired with a flick of the fingers) and an opening cockpit. The building set includes four minifigures: a TIE Fighter Pilot, an Imperial officer, the new Death Star Trooper, and the R5-J2 droid.

Is It Fun?

Once assembled, this TIE Fighter has lots of great detail and features that make it really resemble the iconic vehicle from the Star Wars movies. There are lots of imaginative play possibilities for young fans, and older fans will appreciate the great detail (from the functionality of the TIE Fighter to the look of the mini figures) in this set.

Who It’s For

The LEGO Star Wars TIE Fighter is for Star Wars fans ages 8–14. Adult collectors will want to add this to their collections, as well.

What To Be Aware Of

The pieces for this building set are separated into two bags. The assembly booklet provides detailed step-by-step instructions to guide builders through the building process. First you build with bag one and then you build with bag two. Don't mix pieces from the two bags or building will be confusing.
