LEGO Dino Tower Takedown Review (LEGO)

What It Is

The Tower Takedown set is part of a line of LEGO playsets relaunched under the classic Dino theme. This 136-piece set lets kids build a tower to help the included minifigure capture the Pteranodon. The set comes with a buildable jet boat and a Pteranodon with moving wings. The tower features lots of detail, including a satellite dish, computer control station, and a net launcher to capture the dinosaur as it flies past the tower. Accessories include fish bait, tranquilizer guns, and a walkie talkie.

Is It Fun?

The Tower Takedown set is a great addition to any LEGO Dino collection. Once kids have built the tower and dinosaur, they can engage in classic dino-chasing play, making up all kinds of imaginative and narrative-based adventures.

Who It’s For

The Tower Takedown set is for ages 5–12. It will be most appealing to kids who are intrigued by dinosaurs and fans of adventure play.

What To Be Aware Of

The Tower Takedown set comes with an assembly booklet with very detailed instructions that guide young builders through the building process.

The Pteranodon measures about eight inches wide and four inches long.

There are other sets in the Dino line (sold separately), and these pieces will integrate with all other standard LEGO-sized bricks.
