Halloween might be over but that doesn’t mean you can’t still treat the gamers in your life to a spooky story. Nancy Drew: Shadow at the Water’s Edge is a new CD-ROM game for PC and Mac computers and part of a series of games based on the popular mystery-solving adventures of Nancy Drew.
In Shadows, players take on the role of Drew and head to Japan, where a mysterious ghost is terrifying the guests of a traditional ryokan (inn). It’s up to the player to examine the clues, solve puzzles and uncover the secret that lies beneath the surface of this mysterious adventure.
The Nancy Drew CD-ROM series from Her Interactive, are part book and part game. Each tale immerses the player in a new world and presents them with multiple game and story features. Shadows is rated Everyone 10+ but kids as young as six will enjoy playing this game along with an adult.
