Box Office, Turtle Power Triumphs!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles exceeded expectations by taking in $65 million in it’s debut weekend. Despite bad reviews and a 19% rating on RottenTomatoes.com, audiences turned out for the rebooted action/comedy and gave the movie it’s #1 spot on the box office list. Last week’s #1, Guardians of the Galaxy, slid to #2 with another $41.5 million. That puts Guardians’ total domestic take at $175.9 million in just two weeks.

TTPM (that’s us) has been reviewing the toys for both movies. You can see the reviews for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by clicking here, and Guardians of the Galaxy here.
