Box Office, Transformers 4 Continues to Dominate

Transformers: Age of Extinction easily held onto the top spot at the box office in it’s second weekend out. The sequel earned another $37.1 million, and has now taken in $175.4 million (domestically) since it’s debut. If the movie continues on it’s current trajectory, it will likely end up as the lowest-grossing installment in the series.

Several new movies opened over the weekend with the comedy, Tammy, coming in at #2 and horror, Deliver Us From Evil, coming in 4th. The only family-friendly movie to open was Earth To Echo, which had a less than stellar opening with $8.4 million and the #6 spot on the list.

TTPM has been reviewing the toys for some of the summer’s hottest movies. You can see the Transformers toys by clicking here, Dragon 2 toys here, and Maleficent here.
