Box Office: Fast is First, Now is Next and After is Awful

Fast & Furious 6 held onto the top position on the chart despite two new movies opening, one of which has Will Smith in it. Those two new movies were Now You See Me, which did better than expected and opened in 2nd with $28.05 million and Will Smith’s After Earth, which did way worse than expected with $27 million and the #3 spot on the list.

The current Monday morning estimates have Star Trek Into Darkness and Epic tied for 4th place with both movies taking in $16.4 million. Those figures might change as the day goes on and final numbers are available. In the meantime, you can check out Time To Play’s movie pages for reviews of the movies and toys based on the movies.
