Play-Doh Old MacDonald Had A Farm Review (Silver Dolphin Books)

Play-Doh Old MacDonald Had A Farm
What It Is

Play-Doh Old MacDonald Had a Farm is a sing-along board book that plays an instrumental version of "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" and includes pictures of Play-Doh sculptures that reflect the song's lyrics. As you flip through each page, press the green sound button to hear the first two lines of the song. (You'll have to sing the "With a moo-moo here and a moo-moo there" parts on your own.) Preschoolers can follow along with the song while looking at Play-Doh pictures of animals on the farm. This board book measures 8.5 inches by 10.5 inches, so it's a bit larger than a standard board book.

Is It Fun?

This is a great book for parent-child interaction, encouraging parents to sing along with their kids and point out the different animals and objects on each page. The Play-Doh illustrations by Kara Kenna are really neat with so much for young kids to explore. They might even inspire kids to create similar Play-Doh sculptures.
