Rio (The Official App for the Movie) Review (Cupcake Digital)

Rio (The Official App for the Movie)
What It Is

Rio (The Official App for the Movie) offers Rio fans four ways to play. The digital story retells the plot of the movie. Kids can choose to have the story narrated to them or read the story themselves. (Turning off the narration also turns off the music and sound effects.) The second activity is a digital coloring book that lets kids use different digital paint tools and colors to color in and decorate favorite Rio characters or create their own digital drawings. Kids' creations can be saved to your device's photo gallery. Kids can also play two games. In Blu's Rescue, kids choose from two difficulty levels before helping Blu fly through the rainforest eating fruit and rescuing birds from cages. But watch out for Nigel. Jewel's Gems is a game similar to that of Bejeweled where kids must mix and match sparkling gems to score points.

Is It Fun?
