Primary Science ViewScope Review (Learning Resources)

Primary Science ViewScope
What It Is

The Primary Science ViewScope is a beginner microscope that's just the right design and size for little hands. Kids can place an object underneath the viewer either directly on the stage or, for smaller objects, in the included viewing case. Then turn the focus knob until the image appears sharp and clear. The ViewScope has a magnification of 20x and uses natural light so you don't need batteries. It also has a soft rubber eyepiece for easy viewing.

The viewer also detaches for on-the-go discoveries. Just press the two green buttons and gently pull the viewer away from the base. Kids can bring the viewer outside to look at dirt, leaves, bugs, and more close up.

Is It Fun?

If your little one is curious about the world and science, then this toy offers a great way to get them exploring. This is a great way to familiarize kids with using a microscope.
