Oobr Booster Seat Review (Clek)

Oobr Booster Seat
What It Is

Not all child booster seats are built alike, and with some understated bells and whistles, the Oobr Booster Seat packs a mighty big safety punch while also keeping a colorful design aesthetic. The Oobr Booster Seat has energy-absorbing foam, a magnesium frame, side-impact head protection, and LATCH connectors that ensure a secure installation in your car. Additionally, this booster seat uses a vehicle's existing seat belts to secure your child into the high-back booster seat. As your child grows the high back can be removed to make it a backless booster. Padded arm rests and a cup holder along with a curved headrest and a recline feature make this booster seat a step above the rest. The fabric is moisture and stain-resistant, and the bottom seat is washable.

Why Is It Useful?

While there are many pros to point out with this booster seat, we had a few concerns. This is a 20-pound booster seat with a high back. It's incredibly heavy and not easy to move between cars. The seat is comfortable but not plush like some other booster seats. The seat itself is not very deep, which might be uncomfortable for kids with long legs. But that said, the safety LATCH feature, magnesium frame, moisture- and stain-resistant fabric, and incline option all make up for the lack of a plush seat. If your child has long legs, you might want to test this out before committing.

Who It’s For

The Oobr booster seat is for ages 4 and up. In high-back mode, this can be used with children from 33 to 100 pounds and 38 to 57 inches. In backless mode, it can be used from 40 to 57 inches and 40 to 100 pounds.
