LEGO Legends of Chima Online Review (Warner Bros Interactive)

LEGO Legends of Chima Online
What It Is

LEGO Legends of Chima Online from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and LEGO is a multiplayer online adventure game. Kids create a custom Chima character from one of the four animal warrior tribes, including the Lion, Eagle, Gorilla, and Bear tribes.

After creating a character, players begin building an Outpost, which acts as a home base, and they then head out on different missions. The missions will reward players with LEGO stud pieces, loot, and accessories. The stud pieces act as currency in the game and will allow players to expand and upgrade their Outposts, weapons, and gear.

Since this is an online game, players will encounter other players when out on missions and can even team up with those other players and work together.

Is It Fun?

Chima Online does a great job of expanding the world of the LEGO Chima toys and animated series. Players get to enter that world as their own character and can spend all their time on missions or focus on building up their outposts.

This is also a fun game for Chima fans to play together when they can't be in the same location.

Who It’s For

The game is Rated E10+ and intended for LEGO Chima fans, ages 10 and up. We think kids as young as 8 should be ok playing this game, which is similar to a more advanced version of Club Penguin, but with a heavier emphasis on battle-based missions.

What To Be Aware Of

In addition to the LEGO stud pieces, there are also gold bricks in the game that act as a second form of currency. These bricks are more valuable but much harder to find, which is why they can also be purchased with real money.

LEGO Legends of Chima Online is a browser-based game for PC and Mac. It's also available as an app for iOS devices and players can access their online game in the app as long as it's connected to Internet.
