Sofia the First Royal Learning Tablet Review (VTech)

Sofia the First Royal Learning Tablet
What It Is

The Sofia the First Royal Learning Tablet features eight learning activities that introduce preschoolers to letters, phonics, logic, music, and more. For each activity, kids hear Sofia's voice and music and watch animations on the screen. In Words & Phonics, kids press a letter button to hear how to say letters and learn words that start with each letter. The second activity, Guess the Letter, shows a letter partially covered by a flower, and kids must guess what letter it is. In Royal Prep Library, kids must choose the correct letter in order to help Sofia put away books. Picture Puzzle asks kids to choose the correct half of a picture, and kids must press the correct character button when they see the character on the screen in Guess Who? Kids find the matching ingredient in Cedric's Potion and find the carrot in Lunch for Clover. When Music Time is selected, kids can choose one of 10 melodies and watch Sofia and her friends dance on the screen. Kids can also press one of the five character buttons to hear more about Princess Sofia, Mia, Robin, Whatnaught, and Clover.
