Disney Signature Collection Ursula Review (Mattel)

Disney Signature Collection Ursula
What It Is

She's the villainous villainess from one of the all time classic Disney movies, which of course makes her practically irresistible. Ursula the Sea Witch, based on the villain from The Little Mermaid, is part of the Disney Signature Collection line of dolls that bring back some of the most popular and beloved Disney characters as they appeared in the movies. Ursula, as you probably remember, gives Ariel a chance to win Prince Eric in exchange for keeping Ariel's voice. But, of course, the happy ending can't be stopped, though it looks a little dangerous from time to time. Still, Ursula is one of the most delicious witches in all of Disney, and her song "Poor Unfortunate Souls" is a favorite. The doll portrays Ursula as half-octopus, half-woman. The hair and makeup from the movie are an exact reproduction, and the doll wears the iconic shell necklace in which Ariel's voice was kept.

Is It Fun?

Fans of the movie will love displaying this excitedly evil enchantress, and the doll comes in a box that features her sidekicks and hench-eels, Flotsam and Jetsam.

Who It’s For

Ursula is for The Little Mermaid fans ages 3 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

Fun fact: The doll features six tentacles, but octopi have eight. Ursula in the movie had only six, however, because the animators realized she would be easier to see and clearer in the movie if she had two fewer tentacles.
