LEGO Friends Sunshine Ranch Review (LEGO)

LEGO Friends Sunshine Ranch
What It Is

Kids can go horseback riding with Mia and other LEGO Friends characters with the 721-piece LEGO Friends Sunshine Ranch building set. Kids will build a two-story ranch with an upstairs apartment that features a kitchen, a bedroom, and a bathroom. Two panels lift up to give kids easier access to the upstairs interior. Head downstairs to the stables where the horses wait. The set includes accessories for grooming the horses and saddling them up, along with fences for practicing their jumps. Kids also build an outdoor seating area, a tree, a hen house, and an area for bunnies. The set includes two minifigures—Mia and Liza—and several ranch animals: two horses, a pony, two bunnies, a cat, and a hen.

Is It Fun?

There is so much great detail in this set that is sure to appeal to LEGO Friends fans and kids who like horses. The Sunshine Ranch will engage kids in lots of open-ended, narrative-based play.

Who It’s For

LEGO Friends Sunshine Ranch is for ages 6–12.

What To Be Aware Of

This set took us almost two hours to assemble, and the instructions were very easy to follow. We did have some trouble getting the top of the ranch to stay together, so just be careful as you play.
