The LEGO Movie Castle Cavalry Review (LEGO)

The LEGO Movie Castle Cavalry
What It Is

The LEGO Movie: Castle Cavalry from LEGO is a 424-piece set that is inspired by The LEGO Movie. The set builds the Castle Calvary vehicle, a Micro Manager robot and three minifigures. The minifigures are the knight, Sir Stackabrick; the soldier, Gallant Guard and the "Where Are My Pants?" actress, Sharon Shoehorn.

The Castle Cavalry vehicle has multiple play features for kids to build and then play with. There is a mounted turning crossbow, two catapults and two flame flick missiles. Kids can pretend the actress has been kidnapped by the robot and the soldier and knight have to save her or they can come up with their own story.

This set is a 2-in-1 set, which means that the pieces in the box can be used to build a second item. Kids can either build the Castle Cavalry vehicle or they can use the additional instruction booklet to build a stationary castle gate.

Is It Fun?

Fans of the LEGO Movie will enjoy the build-and-play nature of this toy that combines classic LEGO activity with the appeal of the movie storyline.
