Kids can defeat the crocodile and get the gold with the Matchbox On a Mission Mission: Croc Escape playset. Send your Matchbox car across the rocking bridge and up the stairs. Once atop the stairs, press the croc head lever to send the car down the ramp, but don't get chomped by the crocodile. If the crocodile catches your car, as it usually does, adjust the crocodile tail lever and send a second car down the ramp to rescue the first car and release the gold. To reset, press the crocodile's eye and move the tail lever back to the starting position. Mission: Croc Escape comes with one vehicle, and additional cars are sold separately. The playset also includes four areas where additional Matchbox playsets, sold separately, can be connected for expanded play.
Kids will love how easy it is to operate the different features of this playset and the croc-chomping action that never gets old. Because this set only comes with one vehicle, you're going to have to add another to make the croc rescue feature work. But most kids who love Matchbox will have quite a few extra cars lying around.
Mission: Croc Escape is for ages 3 and up.
Assembly is required, and it took us 15 minutes to set up. The instructions were easy to follow, but the label diagram was difficult to read.
