OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Maxi-Cosi wants parents to think of the Cassia Swing as an extra set of arms to comfort your baby. And just like you, this smart swing instinctively knows when and how to rock your baby thanks to its motion detection mode. So when your baby gets fussy, the swing automatically activates to soothe your baby. The swing seat is made from high-quality fabrics for baby's comfort and includes a soft and cozy newborn inlay. Two hanging toys give your baby something to look at while reclined in one of the swing's two positions.

Use the touch-screen control panel to adjust the swing's speed (there are five swing speeds) and play 12 soothing melodies or nature sounds. You can also set a timer to keep the swing swinging for eight minutes, 15 minutes, or 30 minutes. (Motion detection mode automatically starts movement at speed 3.)

The swing has 360-degree rotation so you can always keep an eye on your baby, plus the swing is lightweight. At only 10 pounds, it's easy to move this swing from room to room. The cover is easy to remove and machine washable.

This swing also has a space-saving frame design along with sophisticated colors and finishes to blend in with your home decor. With three color schemes to choose from (Essential Graphite, Essential Blush, and Essential Blue), this is a piece of baby gear that you won't mind keeping out in the living room.

Why Is It Useful?

Baby swings can be tricky things. Some babies like them; others do not. While we can't comment on how well a baby actually liked this swing, we can tell you why parents will like it and why it might be a good fit for your baby. First, the seat is super soft and comfy. Second, it's easily adjustable. With the two recline positions, five swing speeds, and built-in music and sounds, we think you'll be able to find something that will soothe your baby. The swing is also not littered with zoo animals or primary colors. It's got a really nice modern design that will appeal to the design aesthetics of today's parents.
