FurReal Cinnamon, My Stylin' Pony Review (Hasbro)

FurReal Cinnamon, My Stylin' Pony
What It Is

If you don't have space in your backyard for a stable but you really want a horse, then check out FurReal Cinnamon, My Stylin' Pony. This electronic pony pet has pretty blonde and pink hair for you to style with the 26 accessories, plus Cinnamon is very interactive, with more than 80 sounds and reactions. Cinnamon responds when you touch one of her touchpoints, such as the chin, nose, cheek, and back. There's a button on Cinnamon's back that will play a song and make Cinnamon dance when you press and hold it. The apple accessory can be used as a brush or pretend to feed it to Cinnamon. The pony also has a nighttime mode. Pose its legs into a sitting position and listen as soothing nighttime sounds play while Cinnamon closes her eyes to sleep. (The sounds automatically stop after five minutes.) As mentioned before, there are 26 styling accessories, from a flower crown and horseshoes to felt flowers that decorate Cinnamon's bridle. Store any unused accessories inside the pretend wooden box.

Is It Fun?

Cinnamon is a great addition to the FurReal Friends lineup. Not every kid can have their own pony, so Cinnamon is a great alternative: it's soft and cute, it's very interactive, and it engages kids in lots of imaginative play. This really brings nurturing animal play to life.

Who It’s For

Cinnamon is for ages 4 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

Four AA batteries are required but not included.

After about one minute of inactivity, Cinnamon goes to sleep. Press her back or feed her to wake her.

The instructions make it seem like the apple accessory activates sounds, but the sounds didn't seem to be any different from the ones the pony made when we pet its nose or chin. So don't expect to hear eating sounds.
