OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Lumen Power Figures are little building brick figures, articulated in familiar places like the legs, arms, and head, but with a very cool twist. The decor of each figure is partially comprised of clear plastic, enabling you to see to the circuitry inside. Wait, circuitry? That's right! Take the chrome 1 x 4 brick, place it on the metal contact points on the battery case, and then place your Power Figure on both. Be persistent, the connection can be a little tight. Once you do, the Power Figure will light up! That's not all, leave it there for about 30 seconds to a minute, and you'll be able to play with a lit up Power Figure on its own for over an hour. Talk about a fast charge!

Lumen Power Figures come in three different types. Robyn is a friendly green robot whose light feature has her core pulse red and green. Glen the robo-dog's head glows with a sustained green light. Look out in stores also for Seymour, the blue robot with a glowing green chest and pair of eyes. When not in use, switch the battery off and store it at room temperature.

Is It Fun?

Small building block figures have always been inexplicably charming, and Lumen Power Figures are no exception. The clear parts and light-up feature bring the fun to the next level.

Who It’s For

Lumen Power Figures are recommended for inquisitive kiddos age 6 and older.

What To Be Aware Of

- To remove the battery from the case, you'll need to unscrew the safety screw that prevents easy and accidental access by a child.

- When not in use, switch the battery to "off" and store in a cool, dry location.
