EDITOR'S REVIEW
OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Take your rubber band bracelet-making to the next level with the Rainbow Loom Combo Set. It comes with 4,000 bands in nine colors and instructions for making two bracelet styles. Design 1 is a single chain, and Design 2 is a single with rings. Instructions tell you how many bands you'll need and then show you how to lay those bands on the Rainbow Loom. Then you use the metal hook to "loom your bands" into a bracelet, attaching the ends with one of the 150 c-clips. You'll find more bracelet designs on the Rainbow Loom website. The set includes 12 gift bags so that kids can make bracelets for their friends. All the supplies store nicely inside the plastic container.

Is It Fun?

This craft kit does have a learning curve for beginners, and we wish that the picture instructions were a little easier to follow. But once you get the hang of it, the process of looping the bands is really quite relaxing. Kids will like that this kit comes with so many bands, allowing them to make so many bracelets, and that there are instructions for two bracelet designs.

Who It’s For

The Rainbow Loom Combo Set is for ages 7 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

There is a bit of a learning curve for beginners, and the picture instructions are not always clear. The Rainbow Loom website does offer tutorial videos, however, we didn't see any videos that matched the names of the designs in these instructions.
