OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Kids love listening to music, but parents worry about the hearing damage when kids wear earbuds or headphones. But with the JR 460NC On-Ear Headphones, Active Noise Cancelling technology allows kids to listen at a safe volume that's kept to under 85 decibels.

Connect the headphones to a device's Bluetooth or plug the headphones in using the included cable. A USB cord charges the headphones, and from just two hours of charging, you get 20 hours of playback time. If kids are using the headphones for virtual school, the built-in microphone makes it easy for them to chat with the teacher or classmates.

The cushioned ear cups are labeled "left" and "right", and the padded headpiece is adjustable. The white, grey, and orange color scheme give these headphones a sleek look.

Is It Fun?

We tested these out in a New York City office with lots of ambient traffic noises from outside. Immediately after putting on these headphones, the ambient noises disappeared. That made it easier for us to hear our music at a comfortable listening level without having to turn the volume up. We think kids will be pleased with the sound quality and comfort of these headphones.

Who It’s For

These headphones are for ages 6 and up.
