Kids Against Maturity Card Game Starter Pack and Expansion Packs 1-4 Review (Kids Against Maturity)

Kids Against Maturity Card Game Starter Pack and Expansion Packs 1-4
What It Is

The new family card game Kids Against Maturity takes the fill-in-the-blank card game concept and makes it age-appropriate for kids and parents to play together. Of course, it's going to be filled with toilet humor for kids and witty innuendos for parents.

Each player gets 10 white answer cards and takes turns asking the blue question cards. Questions include "I just built a rocket ship out of ___". Everyone answers each question with the funniest white answer card of their choice, and places it face down. You might choose "Poop emoji", "Jenga tower made of cheese sticks", or "monsturds" as your answer. The question reader chooses which answer they think is the funniest, and the player who played that card wins the hand. At the end, the player with the most winning responses wins the entire game.

The game comes with 600 cards, and you can also purchase four different volumes of expansion packs.

Is It Fun?

While this is obviously based on the racier Cards Against Humanity, it's a tamer version. If you're not a fan of fart jokes, then this game might not be for you. You can also always remove cards that you deem offensive. But families with the right sense of humor will appreciate that it's easy to learn how to play the game and it's a game the whole family can play together. The game creators' whole purpose was to create something that families could play that would keep everyone off of screens.

Who It’s For

The game is for four or more players ages 10 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

The game comes with 600 cards and takes between 30 and 90 minutes to play. The expansion sets have 100 new cards in each one, and those are sold separately.
