Put your skills to the test as you shake the sticks in the game Crossed Signals. There are four different games to play, but in each game mode, you’ll need to follow the lights and move the sticks up and down, or shake them. If an arrow lights up, you move the stick in the direction of the arrow, either up or down. If you see an X light up, move the stick up or down in the opposite direction of the X. And if you see arrows on both ends, shake it up and down.

Now that you know the basics, it’s time to play. Signal Showdown is a two-player game of speed, with each player holding one stick. Both players watch the light on their stick and move at the same time. The player who makes a correct move first scores a point. The first player to score seven points wins.

The other three games can be played solo or with up to four players. And each of these games has four difficulty levels to keep the gameplay challenging. In Speed Signals, you’re trying to get the most points in one minute by following the light commands and moving the sticks accordingly. If you make a mistake, you don’t earn any points for that move, but the game keeps going. The player with the highest score wins.

Light Pursuit is all about following the light commands without making a mistake, otherwise your turn ends. The player with the highest score wins. You can even play the game as a team by selecting one-player mode and having each player hold a stick. See how far you can go together.

And Go-No-Go requires listening skills. You only follow the light commands if the game says “Go”. If the game says “No”, then hold the sticks still. If you make a wrong move, the game ends, and the player with the highest score wins.

Should I get it?

What makes this game challenging is that you have to pay attention to both sticks, and that means you might be doing two different moves at the same time. On top of that, you’ve got to remember what each light command means and move quickly to register the points. We like that this includes four built-in games that can be played solo for practicing one’s skills or with other players for a fun competitive challenge.
