OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

The Electronic Cat Toy with 360-degree rotating butterfly and sensor control is a rare cat toy that Harley and Lola actually seemed interested in playing with. It turns on with the push of a button, and the sensor lights up blue to let you know that it's on. The butterfly spins around quickly in circles, occasionally pausing in between for a few seconds. This will really tease your cat and make them want to hunt and swat at it. If kitty decides to go in for the kill, there are two backup butterflies included in case the first one gets damaged. The five-legged starfish shape plus the non-slip stickers on the bottom help keep the toy in place whether you use it on carpet or smooth flooring.

For dog owners, there's the Self-Cleaning Slicker Dog Brush. With this type of a brush, the pins are bent at a 60-degree angle to ease through tangles and dead fur. To use it you just brush over your dog with a gentle stroking action, and it will collect loose hair from the topcoat and undercoat. The handle was a bit clunky and awkward to hold, but we were impressed by how well it worked at untangling knots in DJ's fur. To clean, you press the button on the back and it releases all the fur that it's accumulated.

Why Is It Useful?

The Electronic Cat Toy is definitely entertaining for cats, thanks to the fast-moving butterfly.

The Self-Cleaning Slicker Brush was very effective at removing loose fur and the cleaning feature definitely beats digging your fingers into the bristles of your dog brush.

Who It’s For

The Electronic Cat Toy is great for playful cats that love to hunt. The brush can be used on any dog, especially dogs with fur that tends to get tangled and knotted.

What To Be Aware Of
The cat toy can be pretty noisy due to a rattling sound it makes when the butterfly spins around. We also noticed a burning-like smell coming from it after it had been turned on for a few minutes, though there was nothing visibly wrong with the toy. It requires three AA batteries which are not included.
