OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

The Nerf Ultra Five is part of the new Ultra line that shoots further and darts have improved accuracy, while still being age graded for kids 8+. The Ultra Five comes with four darts and is easy to use. Pull the priming handle back, load the four darts, push the priming handle forward and press the trigger to fire. Beware, this blaster is small but packs a mighty punch. I liked how light this blaster is, the extreme power, but I wish it held a few more darts.

The Nerf Ultra Pharaoh is a big blaster that also comes with 10 Ultra Darts. It's a cool looking blaster, with an attached scope. Firing is easy. Load your darts into a clip, prime the handle backward then forward, and then rotate it down, then pull the trigger to fire. This blaster, like the other ultra blasters packs a big punch, has the more accurate Nerf Ultra darts, and is pretty accurate. I do feel smaller kids will find the size a little long, and possibly heavy or cumbersome to handle.

Is It Fun?

Both of these blasters are fun and fire quite well.

Who It’s For

These are for Nerf fans. With the Pharaoh, it's a blaster that you can't hide with because of the size. Both blasters are age graded 8+.

What To Be Aware Of

It's strongly recommended kids wear goggles when playing with others. The Pharoah will also be a little long and clumsy for smaller kids
