The Motostryke is a motorized blaster that takes 4 C batteries, and that comes with 10 mega darts and is for ages 8+. The MEGA DARTS are easy to load into a clip and then lock the clip in. To use, just hold your finger on the accelerator button and then pull the trigger to fire. I found the Motostryke to fire about 40 feet without any issue. While it's a solid blaster, I was expecting a little more power and oomph out of this blaster.
The Nerf Rival is my type of blaster. First of all, I feel like I am Arnold from Terminator 2 and this is his blaster of choice. This baby packs a pretty good punch, 90 feet per second which is why it's age graded 14+. Easy to load by pulling the priming handle back, load your 10 rounds, push handle forward and get ready to fire as there's an indicator that tells you you're ready to fire.
Unlock the trigger, which is great for safety. Pull the trigger to fire 1 round or hold the trigger down and pull the priming handle backward and forward to fire all. This blaster also comes with a target for target practice. I really like the feel and power of this blaster, as its immediately one of my favorites.
Of course these are fun! I especially love the feel of Nerf Rival.
These are for Nerf fans and those who love blasters.
Rival is age graded for kids 14+ and if kids are playing with others, it's recommended that goggles are worn.
