What It Is

From Explore Scientific are NEW National Geographic STEM toys to satisfy any curious and scientific mind. Educational and fun to use, each focuses on a different area of discovery. National Geographic helps kids to discover the world around them. Check out the National Geographic 900X Microscope, The National Geographic Metal Detector, and the National Geographic STAR50APP Telescope. These Science, Technology, Engineering and Math based toys are geared towards developing useful skills in all areas of learning.

The National Geographic Metal Detector is simple and easy to use with adjustable length for multiple users. The coil is capable of targeting metallic objects including Gold, Silver, Platinum, Iron, and Steel buried 6 inches below the surface. The detector has a water resistant base for exploring shallow waters. It requires 1 9 volt not included and 3 AAA batteries not included.

Next is the lightweight and highly portable National Geographic STAR50APP 50 meter refractor telescope w/astronomy AP which gives kids the experience of seeing beyond their world into space and all it's wonders. Designed for ages 10 and up, it comes with two interchangeable eyepieces to vary power and magnification and a full size adjustable tripod. Simple to assemble and easy to use, kids can also download the ARTELESCOPE APP to get help in locating constellations and planets.

Finally the The 900X Microscope system is perfect for discovering and viewing things down to the cellular level. Fully focusable with 3 different magnification powers and a lighting feature that can be used to illuminate slides. The set comes complete with 5 prepared slides and 7 blank ones. Kids can create their own experiments. This set features a hard carry case that houses the microscope and organizes all the accessories and many tools to use in discovery. The best part is everything packs neatly away in the carry case. Designed for 8 and up, it requires 2 AA batteries not included.
