OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

This set comes with two sets of kids boxing gloves and two adjustable electronic vests. The vests will both need 2 AA batteries. Adjust the straps and then its time to do battle.

First thing you'll notice is the gloves are very well padded and very cushiony, almost plush soft for safety. They are made for kids hands, not adults, but they are adjustable. There are 3 games to choose from and the object in each game is to hit the target. If you tap the target, you will score. There's very little force needed, as this is about speed and accuracy, and not how hard you can hit.

Game number one is the boxing mode. Once both players have selected the same game, you begin. Hit a target and the light goes out. Once you hit all of the lights, you win a a round. Play 5 rounds, and whoever wins the most rounds wins the game.

In Advanced mode, it becomes harder as the lights turn on one at a time and don't stay on for long. When you get 10 hits, all lights will blink in your vest and your opponents vest will say Game Over.

The third mode is training mode, where there's a timer and you try to hit as many lights as you can before the timer goes off. Every time you hit a light, you score a point and the light will then go back on.

Is It Fun?

We really had lots of fun playing with this game. It reminded us a little like Lazer Tag but with boxing gloves. It's also a great workout for kids.

Who It’s For

This is for kids ages 8+ who will also understand this game is about speed and accuracy and not how hard a person hits.

What To Be Aware Of

The gloves are super soft, but kids need to be told by parents this isn't about power as targets go off easily, but about accuracy.

The gloves are built for kids hands and parents will really need to squeeze to get their hands into them.
