OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

With the Go! Go! Cory Carson DJ Train Trax & the Roll Train, preschoolers can drive and dance with Cory Carson from the Netflix series Go! Go! Cory Carson. This playset features DJ Train Trax, Chrissy, and Cory, plus more than 110 phrases, songs, and melodies.

There are essentially two parts to this playset: DJ Train Trax and a mixing station. DJ Train Trax looks just like he does on the TV show: a colorful train engine wearing a red hat. On its own, kids can roll the train around and watch its smoke stack light up and jiggle as phrases and sounds play. Kids can also press DJ's hat for singing, talking, music, and lights. But the train can also be attached to the mixing table to pull it along for on-the-go music fun.

The mixing table features two mini cars of Chrissy and Cory, and there's space for each one on the two turntables. When you turn the handle or twist the turntables, the cars will dance as lights flash and sounds play. And when the turntables play a short tune or song, kids can keep twisting the turntables to add sound effects on top of the music. Fold down the RollTrain ramp to reveal a parking spot for the train, as well as a SmartPoint location that activates more phrases and sound effects when used with other Go! Go! Cory Carson vehicles, sold separately.

Is It Fun?

This is just another great extension of VTech's popular SmartPoint technology. Kids who enjoy watching the Netflix series will like playing and dancing with favorite characters. But even kids who have never seen the show will be delighted by the cute and colorful look of the playset and all of its music, lights, and phrases.

Who It’s For

The Go! Go! Cory Carson DJ Train Trax & the Roll Train playset is for ages 2 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

Both the mixing table and DJ Train Trax include two AAA batteries. But those batteries are for the in-store try-me features, so you might want to replace them before you play for best results.

It may be a little hard for small hands to turn the spinning handle, so parents may need to assist with that.
