Get ready to jump into summer with the My First Pogo Pals PAW Patrol and Unicorn Pogo Hoppers. Preschoolers can learn to pogo with these squeaky, foam hoppers. There are a variety of styles to choose from, including a unicorn and PAW Patrol, and each is sold separately.
The Unicorn Pogo Hopper has a bright pink base with images of unicorns printed on it, as well as a unicorn face on the pink handlebars. The PAW Patrol Pogo Hopper's blue base features an image of all the Rescue Pups, and Chase is featured on the red, white, and blue handlebars.
These have the same concept as a pogo stick, but instead of a stick, the Pogo Hoppers use a soft, durable foam base connected to the soft foam handles by stretchy bungees. With both feet on the base, kids jump up and down, and every time they land, the base lets out a squeak. This can be used indoors and outdoors.
The Pogo Hoppers are a great way to help kids with their balance and coordination, as well as get them active and playing outside. Familiar characters and bright colors make these visually appealing to kids, but what they're really going to like is hearing the squeak sound with every jump.
There will be a learning curve, especially for the youngest jumpers. But with a 250-pound weight limit, a parent will be able to demonstrate how to use the Pogo Hopper for beginners.
The Pogo Hoppers are for ages 3 and up, and each one has a 250-pound weight limit.
The 250-pound weight limit is good news for parents who may have to hop on one of these themselves to show their preschooler how it works. There will be a learning curve for little kids.
While the foam base itself is pretty durable, we can't say the same for the images printed on it. The unicorn images started to peel off after minimum use.
