OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Look what's popping up in the Blume garden: Blume Baby Pop with 25 surprises! Packaged up in a planter-style box are five green sprouts. Kids have to pull them out one-by-one to discover cute little babies and accessories. Pulling out the sprouts is part of the fun because with each pull, kids will hear a loud and satisfying "pop" sound. You can actually place the sprouts back in the planter to pop them over and over again. If your sprout has accessories inside, those might be a chocolate bar, a toy, or a brush. You might also find babies. Each set will have either three, four, or five babies to pop. There are 50 babies to collect in the series, each with a different hairdo and one of six facial expressions. Check the collector's guide to see if your baby is curious, dreamy, crying, winky, happy, or poopy. The collector's guide also identifies the rarity level of each baby. Use the provided line to write down names for your babies. You also get to reveal the gender of the babies. Just remove the swaddles and place the babies in ice cold water to make their diapers change blue or pink.

Then, turn the flower planter into a playset. The lid becomes a jumbo swimming pool with ladder and slide, and in the bottom, there's a secret nursery decorated in one of five themes. Use the sticker sheet to decorate it. Open up the gift box to reveal one of five collectible baby gifts. And look under the baby bed to reveal an animal-themed costume onesie for the babies. There are 12 of those to collect. The babies need BFFs, so you'll find three animal Snuggle Buddies hiding under the bathtub. There are 10 animal styles and each comes in seven different colors.

Is It Fun?

We love the multiple levels of unboxing and play with this toy. Kids will love popping the sprouts, getting their babies dressed and cared for, and playing out all sorts of adventures with the babies. These will definitely inspire creative play and storytelling, and they'll be a fun addition to a Blume toy collection.

Who It’s For

Blume Baby Pop is for ages 3 and up. Fans of the original Blume will love adding these new baby dolls to their collections.

What To Be Aware Of

Because some of the play involves water, you might want to cover your play space or play in an area where it's okay for spills to happen.
