The Sith Tie fighter includes 470 pieces, a set of instructions, and minifigures of Finn, a Knight of Ren, and a First Order Tie Pilot. All minifigures come with accessories, and three projectiles are also included to simulate blaster fire.
The X-Wing features 761 pieces as well as a set of instructions, and minifigures of Poe Dameron, Jannah, a Knight of Ren, and R2-D2. All minifigures come with accessories and this also includes three projectiles for blaster fire, as well as additional studs for the "proton torpedo" launchers. The "s-foils" have the ability to switch between "attack position" and "flight/landing mode," which was one of the neatest features of this set and made it a really fun interpretation of this new version of the X-Wing.
LEGO builders and Star Wars fans ages 9+.
We'd advise treating the Sith Tie Fighter as more of a display piece - while it felt sturdy in its completed form, the weight balance had us concerned about easy falls/drops. Both sets also feature stud launchers and projectile launchers.
