Thomas & Friends TrackMaster Press 'N Spin Harold and Cassia Crane & Cargo Set Review (Fisher-Price)

Thomas & Friends TrackMaster Press 'N Spin Harold and Cassia Crane & Cargo Set
What It Is

All aboard for new Thomas adventures with the Thomas & Friends TrackMaster Press 'N Spin Harold toy and the Cassia Crane & Cargo Set. Each is sold separately.

Harold the helicopter is ready to fly, but first he needs to load up with cargo. Harold comes with his own piece of TrackMaster track with a special docking point that opens up Harold's cargo doors when Harold is placed on top. If Harold is placed perpendicular to the track, his two side doors open. If Harold is placed in line with the track, his back cargo door opens. All of the doors have track on them so that trains can ride up into the cargo bay and out the other side, if they want. This is compatible with motorized trains and Minis, sold separately. When everybody is loaded up, lift Harold up by the handle, close up the cargo doors, and press the button on the handle to make Harold's rotors spin as he "flies" off to deliver the engines or whatever cargo kids have given him.

Kids can experience more cargo-loading and delivering with the Thomas & Friends TrackMaster Cassia Crane & Cargo Set. It includes eight pieces of track for an oval-shaped configuration. You've got Cassia Crane on one side and a train station piece with chute on the other. A motorized Thomas engine, cargo car, and barrel are included. Load the barrel into Thomas' cargo car. When Thomas passes the train station, the barrel is triggered to roll down the chute. Thomas will chug along and stop at Cassia Crane. Rotate the crane and use the claw to pick up the barrel and swing it back over to Thomas. Flip the switch on the track piece to "Go" to send Thomas back around the track to do it all over again.

Is It Fun?

The Harold set brings a favorite character to life, and it's super easy for little kids to activate the opening cargo doors. They can fill Harold with trains, cars, or other small toys - whatever works for the story they're telling.

The Cassia Crane set works just fine, and kids will enjoy watching the barrel roll down the chute every time Thomas passes by. It's got some good action and movement to inspire creative storytelling for young Thomas fans.

What's great about both sets is that they're compatible with other TrackMaster sets to help fans build out a larger Thomas world.

Who It’s For
