Tricycoo LX Review (Joovy)

Tricycoo LX
What It Is

A secure seat for a confident ride: The Joovy Tricycoo LX is designed to be used as it best suits your child, as it easily converts from parent-facing seat to front-facing trike instantly. It features a UPF 50+ extra-large canopy with window, a super comfy ergonomic rotating and reclining seat with a detachable safety bar, early-stage footrest, free swivel pedals, and free swivel handlebar under parent control (no power struggles here). It also features adult footbrake, five-point harness, storage basket, and adjustable height parent handle. The tricycle has eight adjustable stages, and as your child grows and develops, the Tricycoo LX adapts to allow more and more child control.

Stages 1 and 2 are the 6+ months Baby Trike Stage. The child seat reverses and reclines facing mom and dad. Parents have total control with the adjustable and removable parent push handle. Stages 3 and 4 are the 9+ months Baby Trike Stage, for when the baby's little legs get longer and it's time to use the flip-down footrest for a bit of added support. Stage 5 is the Push Mode (12+ months): You can remove the seat pads to encourage the child to start using their own muscles to get comfy, and you are one step closer to letting them ride solo. Stage 6 is the Toddler Trike Mode (18+ months): The additional flip-down footrests are removed, and the freewheel function can be engaged to allow kids to place their feet on the pedals without controlling the wheels. The free handle-bar function can also be enabled to allow the child to move the handle-bar without steering the trike. Stage 7 is the Child Trike Mode (24+ months): It's time to give up some control. The parent handle, the footrests, and the bumper bar are removed to allow the child to pedal themselves. Finally, Stage 8 is the Classic Trike Mode (36+ months): The back support, the safety belts, and the basket are removed for some big kid fun.

Why Is It Useful?

The tricycle is sturdy and the wheels are nice and wide, so they're great for many surface types. I think this baby gear has many impressive features, such as the reclining and rotating seat along with the additional foot rest on 6+ months baby mode.
