OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

The kit contains 1,351 pieces and includes a printed instruction guide, as well as minifigures of Lando Calrissian, Chewbacca, C-3PO, Finn, Boolio, R2D2, and D-O. Blasters and other accessories, such as a fabric cape for Lando and plastic pouch for Finn, are also included.

The kit is a detailed one that allows you to have interactions within the Falcon. This is possible due to the sections on hinges that open up to reveal the living quarters inside the vehicle, which otherwise maintain the exterior shape of the legendary Corellian transport ship. The Falcon also features a pair of projectile launchers on the front, as well as an additional projectile in case one of the others goes missing. Figures can ride in the cockpit as well, though placing them will require a little bit more effort than I would have liked. It is also an odd quirk that you can't have any figures standing or sitting in certain spots, as they will prevent the panels from closing all the way.

To that degree, while the bulk of the kit is built to be very sturdy, the panels may not withstand rough play, so we highly recommend this be in the hands of more careful players or builders as the intended age suggestion of 9+ should infer. Also, build time for us clocked in at roughly three hours, but as with all kits, timeframes will vary.

Is It Fun?
Yes! Beyond the build time, the playset element to this vehicle should allow for all sorts of imaginative scenarios in a galaxy far, far away.
