OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Make being on the go with baby easier thanks to diaper backpacks from JuJuBe. Both the Be Sporty and the Be Right Back include lots of pockets to keep diapers, bottles, wipes, and more organized. Plus, each one includes a changing pad for easier on-the-go diaper changes.

The Be Sporty can be worn in one of three ways: backpack, messenger bag by attaching the included padded shoulder strap, or by grabbing the top carry handle. You could also use the D-rings for stroller straps, not included, to attach this backpack to a stroller. It's got a lot of pockets to accommodate all the things you'll need to bring for baby. Two small zippered pockets are on the front, and the larger of the two has a mesh pocket and an additional zippered pocket inside. On the sides the backpack are two zippered bottle pockets with Thinsulate by 3M. And on the back, there's a changing pad pocket with matching changing pad. Inside this pocket is a small zippered pocket with a soft lining. The main compartment has a magnetic closure flap and a zippered opening in addition to that. Inside the main compartment are three mesh pockets and one zippered pocket.

The Be Right Back is more of a traditional backpack. The shoulder straps and back panel are made of a padded, breathable mesh for comfort when wearing. Unzip the pocket on the back panel to remove the memory foam changing pad. There's a magnetic snap closure pocket on the front with a clear photo sleeve, where you can put a picture of baby or contact information. A dual zippered pocket behind that opens to reveal an elastic pocket, a mesh pocket, a key ring, and a cell phone pouch. There is also a zippered exterior pocket with a soft lining. And there are two elastic bottle pockets lined with Thinsulate by 3M on either side. The main zippered compartment opens up and folds all the way down for easy access to a mesh zippered pocket, a mesh pocket, and elastic bands that could easily hold a tablet in place. There are D-rings on top of the Be Right Back so you can use stroller straps, not included, to attach this to a backpack.

The linings of both backpacks have a light color to make it easy to see what's inside, and the exterior Teflon Fabric Protector helps repel stains. The metal hardware is strong and sturdy, and both backpacks are machine washable.

Why Is It Useful?

Each of these backpacks has a lot of great features and functionality depending on what you're looking for. Obviously, the multitude of pockets is key to keeping everything inside organized and easy to find. Because the Be Right Back has a lot of padding and can accommodate tablets and small laptops, it would be easy to transition it into a work bag. We also thought the Be Right Back was more comfortable to wear in backpack mode, but we like that the Be Sporty offers three different wear options.
