Marvel Spider-Man Laser Tag Blasters Review (eKids)

Marvel Spider-Man Laser Tag Blasters
What It Is

The blasters have a standard sci-fi blaster look, albeit heavily inspired by Spider-Man's aesthetic between the spider web and hexagonal patterns all over the piece. The blasters also have individual LED lights which indicate a player's Life Meter and Damage they've taken respectively. On the back, you will find the "reload" button which you will need to do anywhere between an interval of 2, 6, or 12 shots. There are also buttons to switch between three types of ammo which consume different amounts of energy (and have different reload cycles), as well as the "single hit" Secret Weapon button which can only be used once, as a successful hit (or unsuccessful miss) will immediately end the game.

The blasters have a very ergonomic design and should be able to be comfortably held by many sizes of hand with minimal effort. Even with the batteries, there isn't too much heft added, so even smaller and younger webheads should have an easy time carrying them around for extended play sessions.

Responsiveness is excellent, as the only requirement for use is direct line of sight. It can could stretch the length of a fairly long apartment with no issue. This is also factoring in even with many devices that could have limited the range.

Is It Fun?
Definitely! A surprising amount of strategy is involved to keep things fresh and fun, and the responsive line of sight makes this a straightforward set to work with.
