OVERALL EDITOR'S RATING:
What It Is

Game night gets a challenging new twist with Hank's Twisted Challenge. In this game, you've got to get the ball off of a twisted wire. And how do you do that? By bending and twisting your body into wacky positions to move the ball from the mouthpiece to the end of the wire.

But the game is different every time you play because you must spin the spinner to determine the wire color and shape. You can even add a Challenge card prompt, such as "finger in your ear" or "eyes closed" to add even more of a challenge. If you're ready for an expert challenge, maneuver the ball back to your mouthpiece once it reaches the end of the wire.

You can also play the game solo or go head-to-head with another player. If you have four players, you can play a team relay version. You can also forego the spinner and just bend the wires in any shape you want for a freestyle version.

Is It Fun?

This is challenging but in a really fun way. There are a variety of ways to play, so you'll get a different challenge experience each time you play. Whether you're challenging yourself or competing against a friend, you'll be testing your flexibility and skills to try and free the ball. And if you're merely a spectator, you might want to have a camera handy because watching the players move is hilarious. You can share it online or at least let the players see what they were doing once they're done.

Who It’s For

This game is for one to four players ages 6 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

The game includes four two-foot wires, two three-foot wires, four dishwasher-safe mouthpieces, two lightweight balls, 20 challenge cards, a spinner, and an instruction sheet.

We thought it was tricky to shape one wire into two or three shapes, so we just choose one of the suggested shapes on the spinner. It's also a little tricky for each player to shape their wire exactly the same.
