Baby Alive Happy Hungry Baby Review (Hasbro)

Baby Alive Happy Hungry Baby
What It Is

Keep your hungry baby happy when you feed Baby Alive Happy Hungry Baby water from its sippy cup or the two packets of powdered doll food. When the sippy cup or spoon are inserted into the doll's mouth, you'll hear eating noises and see the doll's mouth move. And after eating, the doll poops and pees in her diaper.

You can also activate more sounds and movements from the doll by pressing the doll's tummy. The doll has more than 50 sounds and phrases and can be played with in Mommy or Daddy mode, and English or Spanish mode. Toggle the switch on the back of the doll to Mommy or Daddy, and then squeeze the doll's tummy for five seconds to go from English to Spanish.

The doll comes with a bib, a feeding tray, a sippy cup, two packets of powdered doll food, two diapers, a comb, an interactive spoon, and a bowl. There are three different styles of doll: curly blonde hair, straight brown hair, and straight black hair. Each doll, sold separately, wears a floral patterned dress.

Is It Fun?

This captures the messiness and fun of feeding a baby, perfect for little kids who want to pretend to be real moms and dads. This doll has some great realistic aspects with the moving mouth and the phrases. And of course, there's the classic Baby Alive play of dirtying a diaper and needing to be changed. This encourages a lot of nurturing roleplay.
